A Message From Rev. Pam McGrath

A Message From Rev. Pam McGrath

Dear Church,

We have been following the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) protection information. At the suggestions of both the UCC Conference and the Town of Longmeadow, we are canceling worship and all church meetings effective immediately until April 7th (with the exception of our 12-step programs, who will be following the suggestions of Governor Baker and the CDC). We will be constantly evaluating information from the town, UCC Conference, and CDC. We will stay in contact with you through eblast, phone, website and Facebook.

Worship: Sunday Services can be seen on the church’s Facebook page and YouTube page, live streaming at 10:00 AM. They will be services of prayer, scripture, and meditation. I hope you will join us!

Church Meetings and some programs: will happen virtually using the church’s Zoom account (Instructions below). The church will remain open for 12-step/AA programs at this time.

Here is a current list of our online offerings, using Zoom:

I want to encourage you not to fall prey to fear. The very word “pandemic” can be frightening. We are taking precautions to assure no one is exposed not because you are in imminent danger.

Rev. Marisa and I are available to speak with you if you need prayer, an ear to listen, or reassurance. God is with us at this time. God is with FCC.

Rev. Pam

Please also continue to stay up to date on the recommendations of our local town authorities, which can be located on the Longmeadow town website: http://longmeadow.org/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=521
