The Christmas season is a great time to invite friends and family to come to church with you! The music will be glorious, the mood and message about hope and new life.  We have a service for everyone this Christmas!

Sunday, December 3 | The First Sunday of Advent
10:00 am Worship: Hanging of the Greens
Join in the joyous decorating of our Sanctuary for the Christmas season. Carols & readings about the meaning of mistletoe, roses, nativity set, evergreen, and more!

Sunday, December 10 | The Second Sunday of Advent
10:00 am Worship
Can we become who God dreams us to be? We hear a Word of Life.

3:00 pm | Wilbraham Community Chorus Concert

Thursday, December 14  | Blue Christmas – A Service of Remembrance
6:30 pm
This service honors the birth of Jesus with quiet readings, prayer, music and candle-lighting to honor a need at Christmas for many of light shining in the darkness, and hope for a weary heart.

Sunday, December 17 | The Third Sunday of Advent
10:00 am Worship
The God of restoration strengthens us when we find ourselves spiritually thirsty. We hear a Word of Welcome!

Christmas Eve Services

Sunday, December 24 | The Fourth Sunday of Advent & Christmas Eve
10:00 am Worship
We will celebrate the final Sunday of Advent with a Christmas Eve feel – we’ll hear how the Word became human and walked among us and welcome Christmas with carol singing.  We hear of the Word made flesh!

Evening Services

Three Unique Worship Services – Come to one or all of our services on Christmas eve, and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ!

4:00  pm  | A Family Celebration of the Birth of Jesus
Join us for this family-friendly service for all ages, especially focused on children & youth.  Christmas Carols and special festive music by the First Church Choir, featuring the First Church Youth Choir!  Childcare available for children to age 5 (this service only.)  We all join in singing “Silent Night” with special lights!

8:00 pm | A Choral Celebration for Christmas Eve
Hear a message of the season, Christmas carols and special Christmas music led by the full choir and trumpet.  Together we will welcome Jesus with the traditional singing of “Silent Night” by candlelight.

11:00 pm | A Contemplative Service to Welcome Jesus
Come for the awe of the last hour before Christmas Day and the birth of our Lord – in a service of quiet meditation, carols, solo music and reflection. We share Christmas Communion and join in a circle around the Sanctuary to sing “Silent Night” by candlelight.
