An Intergenerational Family Ministries Event

Join us for a triple-feature to be shown in the Youth Room.

5pm:  The Halloween Classic “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” (G) The Peanuts gang celebrates Halloween while Linus waits for the mythical Great Pumpkin.

6pm:  “Hotel Transylvania” (PG)  When monsters want to get away from it all, they go to Count Dracula’s (Adam Sandler) Hotel Transylvania, a lavish resort where they can be themselves without humans around to bother them. On one special weekend, Dracula invites creatures like the Invisible Man, the Mummy and others to celebrate the 118th birthday of his daughter, Mavis (Selena Gomez). However, an unforeseen complication unfolds when an ordinary human unwittingly crashes the party and falls in love with Mavis.

7:30pm (for YES and YUP): “Ghostbusters” (2016, PG-13) Paranormal researcher Abby Yates (Melissa McCarthy) and physicist Erin Gilbert are trying to prove that ghosts exist in modern society. When strange apparitions appear in Manhattan, Gilbert and Yates turn to engineer Jillian Holtzmann for help. Also joining the team is Patty Tolan, a lifelong New Yorker who knows the city inside and out. Armed with proton packs and plenty of attitude, the four women prepare for an epic battle as more than 1,000 mischievous ghouls descend on Times Square.

Refreshments will be served.  Children and adults are invited to come wearing their Halloween costumes.  All ages are welcome.  For more information contact Marilyn Paul-Lewis (marilyn@firstchurchlongmeadow.org) or any member of the Family Ministries Team.
