The Wilbraham Men’s Glee Club will hold a spring concert at First Church of Christ on Sunday, April 29 at 4 pm.
The Glee Club is conducted by Wilbraham Choral Society Artistic Director Raymond Drury and accompanied by well-known and highly respected local pianist/organist Marcia Jackson. Drury, Jackson and the singers have crafted a varied and compelling program consisting of classical pieces both old and new, folk songs, pop tunes, novelty numbers, Broadway and barbershop. Of particular interest will be a performance by a smaller vocal group derived from the Glee Club, and both Ms Jackson and St. Cecilia’s Dr. Todd Rovelli will continue their long tradition of providing distinctive settings of four-hand piano.
Admission is free. A free-will collection to defray expenses will be taken. Concert is supported in part by both The Longmeadow and Wilbraham Cultural Councils.
