Each summer a group of First Church members get together to enjoy the music at Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. This year the two trips will be on July 23 and August 13.
If you’ve never participated in this, make this Summer your maiden voyage. Great music, Terrific pot luck food, so be sure to bring a dish to share, and your beverages. Fun First Church people, all gathered under a sprawling tree in front of Section 16. Price for lawn ticket is $21.00
There’s something new on Sundays this year. From noon until 1:30 there will be various activities around the grounds – face painting, local food tastings, yoga and Oigng, games for families Also, lectures and musical demonstrations in the Theater.
