What to Expect When You Visit

Sunday mornings we gather as a community to actively live the Gospel and to be renewed by the living God. Through worship and education, music, fellowship and prayer, we are invited into the beauty, adventure and mystery of faith. Our Sunday offerings include enrichment and learning opportunities for children and adults, community worship in the sanctuary, and a fellowship hour in our hall. We warmly welcome you to participate in some or all of these opportunities as you wish. If you are a first-time visitor with children, please know that kids of all ages are free to take part in our children’s messages and church school programs or to remain with their parents in worship, as they prefer. Our Nursery is open every Sunday morning for our youngest visitors.

First Church is handicap accessible.  We have a ramp for accessing our front doors as well as the door on Williams Street and an elevator that reaches all floors.

Visit our worship section for details on worship at First Church.

“What should I wear?” Wear whatever you wish. First Church has no dress code. Most of us dress comfortably and somewhat informally—heels and ties are definitely optional.
