On June 16, 2018, delegates from the Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island conferences voted overwhelmingly to form a new unified Conference. This Conference was approved by General Synod in June 2019, and is expected to officially launch Jan. 1, 2020. But before that happens, our three conferences will gather for the last time as separate entities at this, our third joint annual meeting on Friday, November 1 through Saturday, November 2, 2019.

The keynote speaker for this historic gathering will be Valarie Kaur, founder of the Revolutionary Love Project. Kaur is a Sikh racial justice activist, civil rights lawyer, award-winning filmmaker, educator and author of Revolutionary Love.
Delegates will also have opportunities to hear from one another during storytelling sessions and an evening reception, to worship together and to take part in plenary sessions. The new conference Board of Directors will give an update on the vision for the transition, including information on leadership.
